Welcome to the online home of Boston Metro Opera - ". . . a robust new company with a penchant for trendsetting productions (Cape Ann Beacon) and New England's premier 'new opera' opera company.
I invite you to take a look at our Current Season, which features five world premieres, one East Coast premiere, and one New England premiere. These works are and will be cast with supremely talented artists from up and down the East Coast. If you are a composer, I encourage you to check out our new Composers Page where you can send us your opera at any time. I also recommend taking a look at our Contemporary AmericanaFestival - Boston's dedicated venue for new Classical vocal music, which we sponsor annually.
