From the Director
Welcome to the online home of Boston Metro Opera - ". . . a robust new company with a penchant for trendsetting productions (Cape Ann Beacon) and premier 'new opera' opera company.

I invite you to take a look at our Current Season, which will feature a number of new works, mostly premieres.  These works are and will be cast with supremely talented artists from all across the East Coast.

If you are a composer, I encourage you to check out our new Composers Page where you can send us your opera at any time.  I also recommend taking a look at our Contempo Festival - an international music festival sponsored annually by Boston Metro and widely regarded as Boston's dedicated venue for new vocal music.
